SOCIATE adds another feather in its cap with new content creation services


SOCIATE, a 360-degree communications agency in Dubai, launched with four key pillars in 2015: Public Relations, Marketing, Events, and Design. As the agency has evolved over time, it’s seen the launch of burgeoning sub-departments including social media, copywriting, and now a content department.


Conceptualised and spearheaded by SOCIATE’s Content Strategist and Shutterbug, Emjay Fernandez, the agency’s budding content department has worked with the likes of Noor Takaful, Waterfront Dragon Boat Challenge 2021, The Yellow Chilli, Snap Fitness, Spill The Bean, Pizza’art, Reach Outstanding, and Selva.


The content department’s key services include the ideation and execution of engaging content ideas, photography and videography, non-linear editing, event documentation, and video interviews to name a few.


Emjay comments on the development of the content department, “The regional social media landscape has rapidly evolved in the past five years. Pictures and videos are now just part of the magic mix that drives social media engagement. Social media users have an appetite to be wowed with every scroll, and this is only increasing. Audience behaviour, budgets, and the modern demands of social media all point to one thing: the need for in-house production. This is where our content department steps in”.


When asked about the milestones she’d like to see the content department achieve, Emjay cites working with world-renowned brands, onboarding expert editors and producers, and of course, winning an award for creative storytelling.
