Warrior Academy, The Only Purpose-Built Character Development Centre in the Middle East

Confidence, conduct and concentration are the three C’s that Warrior Academy focuses on to transform its students’ lives

17 May 2021, Dubai – Sebastian Bates, the founder of one of the UK’s top five Martial Arts organisations, is now in the UAE. The Warrior Academy was founded in 2011 and has since worked with over 10,000 families from all over the world, including royal families from the UAE and Jordan. The Warrior Academy’s location on Exit 40, Sheikh Zayed Road, in the heart of Dubai, makes it accessible to all.

The Warrior Academy in Dubai prides itself on high-quality tuition with a team of British instructors with decades of experience in martial arts (British and World Champions), while focusing on small groups of 10-13 students maximum, often with 2 British instructors in each class.

Character growth and anti-bullying are its key specialities. The Warrior Academy guides families through its 4 Step Methodology; Community, Inspire, Challenge Lead, planning a 6-8 year journey for its students to rapidly develop the 3 C’s (Confidence, Conduct and Concentration), ultimately giving each student a Black Belt Character.

“A child’s character is their confidence, their conduct, their concentration. It’s their ability to take on challenges, to set and achieve goals, it’s their moral compass, it dictates the people they are associated with, the values they have and the vision they seek. Ultimately, a child’s character sets them up for a happy and successful life as an adult,” says Sebastian Bates, Founder of Warrior Academy.

Sebastian, a best-selling author in the area of character development launched “The Warrior Method” in 2018; a book that outlines techniques for nurturing a Black Belt character in young people and details the 4 Step Methodology that has brought success to over 10,000 students worldwide.

The Warrior Academy is notably the first of its kind to pioneer an alternative approach to anti-bullying through the “Not A Victim” programme, that empowers young people to stand up to bullying and, in the process, build resilience that stays with them for life, ensuring children “breakthrough” bullying, rather than “break” through bullying.

ABOUT WARRIOR ACADEMY

The Warrior Academy was founded in 2011 by Head Instructor, Sebastian Bates. Sebastian’s vision for developing the character of young people stems from his own experiences within martial arts. After travelling the world, competing and studying 6 different styles of martial arts Sebastian returned to build his own Martial Arts school. Starting in a small rural village with 10 students, the Warrior Academy was born. Word quickly spread and within 7 years the Warrior Academy has grown to 40 locations and over 1000 students go through The Warrior Academy Programme each year.
